A message from COL Mark ODonnell, 1BCT Commander, to Warrior Families - 1BCT completed operations in the box today (26 JAN). Tomorrow, Soldiers will redeploy from the field and be housed in temporary living facilities (circus tents and cots). Cell phone privileges have been restored. Additionally, tomorrow, the focus shifts to after-action reviews, maintenance, turn-in of equipment, and manifesting for return flights. Soldiers will redeploy from 31 JAN through 4 FEB. We will not have finalizeds manifest until 29 JAN. On the 29th, your Soldier should be able to call to provide details about his/her redeployment date/time. You Soldiers did great!
