A message from Pastor John.....I THOUGHT IT WAS WELL PUT. A biopsy of Joe Anns brain tissue was taken early this morning, April 27th. Four of her doctors met with the family at 2 pm this afternoon. They listened to the family relate the improvements seen by family members in recent weeks. Then with a series of brain scan pictures, the doctors reviewed the extent of brain damage that can be seen. There is considerable damage to the left side of her brain affecting short term memory, mobility and language. There is nothing that current medical science can do to repair these areas. Joe Ann may get marginally better in the coming days but apart from a miracle her improvements will be limited. At this time they admit the cause remains a mystery; however, something may be learned from the biopsy. The family will soon have to make some decisions about the level of care and where continued care will be administered. Our hopes and prayers for full recovery have not yet been answered. Prayer is still needed and as much for her family as for Joe Ann. These doctors were gentle, compassionate and took time to listen and answer as best they could. Thank you Pastor John Woodard for this message and for being there to support our mom and family. We will continue to have faith in my moms healing. She is a woman of God and all things are possible through Him. Thank you all and we love you all! Lee
