A message from Skye Edwards : Its September! Woah, where did the year go? Time flies when youre having fun! Its been a great summer and Ive really enjoyed performing at all of the festivals this year. Sure, there were a few rainy days and I whole heartily thank all of our fans for hanging in there when it was cold and wet! Im singing in the rain, just singing in the rain... I loved singing this at the Open Air Festival in Zurich. A joyfully spontaneous moment inspired by the bad weather! Another spontaneous moment was when I sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow at The Secret Garden Party in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Well, the theme of the festival was Goodbye Yellow Brick Road so I couldnt not sing it! If anyone has footage of that, or any other photos and vids from our summer shows, please feel free to share them. The year is far from over for Morcheeba. We have plenty more shows coming up so have a look here to see where we will be: morcheeba.co.uk (Check it regularly as more dates will be added) Well be presenting our songs in a stripped down Plugged and Unplugged style, making the show feel more intimate. Of course well be performing some of your favourite and familiar songs as well as a few that weve not played in a while. Until then, Im going to take a break from Facebook and Twitter, for about a month or so, whilst I record my 4th solo album - Downtempo, Ambient, Chill-Out vibes. Oooh yes please.
