A message from UE industries... It is with great regret that I must announce that we will be postponing the event, most likely to early May with details to be confirmed asap. Ive had my whole life invested in this and have tried to do things as professionally as possible, but council bureaucracy is unpredictable at the best of times and on this occasion we copped the short end of the stick. RSF went through the same bullshit last year and it was only the extensive support from the local community that allowed them to get it over the line only days before the event. As for refunds, the terms of the tickets clearly state that refunds are payable only in the instance of a cancellation, but Im well aware that many people have made arrangements which cannot be changed at this late stage, so Ill be more than happy to issue refunds in the hopes of minimising the hassle caused by this change of plans. For anyone who has purchased tickets online and would like a refund, please just send me a private message with your full name and booking ID and Ill process it. Hard copy ticketholders whod like a refund, also message me with your details and Ill make the necessary arrangements. My sincerest apologies to everyone who has been inconvenienced, Im well aware that many of you have made plans, invested in travel, and taken time off work. I realise theres very little I can do to make up for such difficulties, but Ill endeavour to use the extra time to include even more elements and heighten the experience to try to make up for the tremendous muck-around. The current arrangements are so far removed from the incredible vision I was aiming for, our only option is to now find the silver lining and make the most of the hand thats been dealt. I greatly appreciate everyones understanding and patience through this, as a perfectionist this is far removed from how I planned to do things. Ill be spending the extra time only trying to provide a better experience for everyone, and trying to compensate for the hassles to the best of my ability. Lots of love goes out to UE for putting in all this effort for what was going to be a very special weekend. But we look forward to continuing this process with him and make Yemaya Festival an even better place for everyone. Love + Light x
