A message to Unifi people who are experiencing massive slowdowns on internet connections, PLEASE do not blame Unifi for the slowdowns, Im seeing many people trashing Unifi just because their Whatsapp, Facebook and Chinese websites are lagging. Unifi is not at fault here, many of our other South East Asian friends are also experiencing the same problems. This is due to the 20,000 kilometer-long undersea cables (AAG - Asian-America Gateway) which connects South East Asian countries (Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, our very own Malaysia, etc) to Hong Kong, and then connects us with America via Guam and Hawaii ARE DAMAGED since YESTERDAY (Tuesday morning). I believe the reason why were getting delays connecting to China and beyond is because the cables are damaged off Hong Kong. The damages cant be fixed as soon as possible due to Typhoon Kalmaegi affecting repairing efforts because you know, typhoons are scary and will physically blow you away. P/S: Im only defending Unifi, not Streamyx. Because Streamyx is always slow no matter what. Sekian terima kasih.
