A message to anyone upset with Ray Rice and/or the issue of domestic violence. How many of you were upset with the 138 republican house representatives that voted against the Violence Against Women Act and the 22 republican senators that voted against it? (No democrats in either section voted against it) How many of you tweeted, called, or emailed your representatives and let them know how strongly you felt about this subject? I would guess not very many. You want to speak out about how horrible Ray Rice is, but then just want to sit here and continue living in a culture where women and girls are categorized as things. Dont just stand there and watch someone on fire talking about how awful it is, when you have a bucket of water in front of you. Do you want something to happen? Do some research, vote, and make social change. Do you just want to sit there and complain and expect things to change? You are a fool, and you can leave the conversation. - Molly Sanders
