A miserly old man used to go daily for Esha prayers to the Musjid. But when he used to leave he used to put out the lantern in the house to save paraffin. One night he hurriedly left for Esha forgetting to put out the lantern. He remembered when he was halfway to the musjid already & became disappointd about the loss that he was going to incur that day becoz of the extra paraffin that would get used,& the extra wick that would also get used. So he turned back & came home. He knocked on the door. When his wife answerd he told her, "Do not open the door. I just came to remind Ʊ to put out the lantern." She replied,"Donot worry. I am in Ʊr marriage for many years now. I am trained aLready & realised that Ʊ forgot about it so I put it out when Ʊ left. But Ʊ tell me,that the extra walkng that u had to do to come & tell me to put the lantern out,the sole of Ʊr shoe wore out extra today,what about that?" He replied,"No my sole didnot wear out because at the point wher I had to turn back,I removed my shoes & put them under my arm. I will only put my shoes on when I reach that point again. " Then she asked,"Why did Ʊ tell me not to open the door?" He said,"I did not want the hinge to get used unnecessarily." Are Ʊ laughing at the mans behaviour thinkng what a miser he is ?? But more miserly than him is the one who hears the name of Nabi sallallaahu alayhi wassallam but does not recite durood upon him. Let us all increase Durood today & earn huge rewards & blessings. The shortest form of Durood is sallallaahu alayhi wasallam. @>--. @>--. @>--. @>--. @>--. @>--. @>-- The special durood for today which has such gr8 rewards,which our mind cannot even conceiv is: Allah humma salli ala muhammadin wa aalihi alfa alfa marra. Oh Allah,send salutations upon NABI صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ & upon his family a 1000, 1000 times.
