A moment of gratitude from reader Kathy D: My moments of gratitude are many but will share one that sticks out to me and not many people share. I am grateful for my boss. I was at a time when I really needed a job. My husbands cancer is terminal and I was unemployed and my unemployment ran out. We were okay and had cut back. Then I was given a few hours of work from my son-in-laws father and from there met a couple who owned the company he rented his offices in. That lead to a job that has given me bosses that have given me the flexibility I need to be where I need for my husbands needs yet make income. These great people have given me health insurance, a raise, holiday pay and offered a week of paid vacation if my husband and I want to take a special trip (we were told to enjoy the holidays they would be our last). They have given friendship and a place for me to go to escape from the stress of what life has brought. I know too it has given my husband some freedom; less worry about financial things, some time where I am not watching and analyzing things so closely. Share your moment of gratitude in the comments.
