A mother was shocked and outraged when a cashier at her local supermarket smacked her little boys legs for having a tantrum in the store. Although the matter was dealt with by the store and police, the mother had already took to social media (Facebook) to vent her views on the situation, what followed may surprise some people. As many people did sympathise with the mother and felt it was unjust for a stranger to discipline her son, some felt that she had done nothing wrong and was in her right to smack him, and that the mother and child were the ones in the wrong. What do you think? Was the mother over reacting, was the cashier doing the right thing?
