A new DOS (Denial of Service) attack was spotted coming out of - TopicsExpress

A new DOS (Denial of Service) attack was spotted coming out of Canada last Thursday. Blocking the sources of the attacks was something like playing Wack-A-Mole. The systems first seeing the problem got a server software update Monday to solve the problem. Even though we didnt see the attacks here, Ive now loaded the update on our servers. Quick fixes to issues like this are the reason our mail servers arent running a Microsoft OS. It is also why I keep the direct lines for certain people in my speed dial list.
