A new Insights West poll confirms the obvious: shipping U.S. thermal coal is bad for our air and people dont trust Fraser Surrey Docks or Port Metro Vancouver to keep our lungs and environment safe. Our only remaining hope lies with the Metro Vancouver regional government, which requires Fraser Surrey Docks apply for an air emissions permit and prove its risky coal export proposal wont harm our air quality - through a transparent, democratic process where local residents have a say in the final decision.
