A new Sleater-Kinney album seemed improbable, given the busy schedules of the bandmates since they started their hiatus in 2006. Carrie Brownstein formed a new band, WILD FLAG, and created the popular IFC series Portlandia. Corin Tucker started the The Corin Tucker Band and released and toured two albums; Janet Weiss drummed for The Shins, Quasi and Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks And yet ... here it is.
