A new report from Americans for Tax Reform shows that Maryland is the second-biggest tax hiker in the nation, raising taxes by more than $11 billion since 2008. Larry Hogan & Change Maryland have been on the forefront of this issue for the last three years, spearheading the comprehensive report that showed 40 consecutive tax, toll & fee hikes passed under the OMalley-Brown administration. Our study shows that these taxes will cost struggling Maryland families and small businesses $20 billion by the end of 2018. On average, Maryland families are paying $4,600 more per year in taxes and fees than they were eight years ago.
