A parent asks our group: Has anyone been through any type of custody issues with your SPD child? My childs father thinks our child has been misdiagnosed (by 4 different professionals) and is trying to get 50/50 shared parenting. My poor kiddo even verbalizes now that he only wants to go for 2 nights and no more. They dont follow any recommendations (sometimes he says he does but then says it makes no difference). Im just so worried about my kiddo. Some people tell me the judge will listen and some tell me since SPD isnt official recognized as a disorder ( I might not be saying that correct) that the judge wont care? UGGGG! Thanks in advance
