A parent asks our group: I am a little confused. .. my daughter is 2 years old 3 in Feb and is a seaker for physical activity all the time but has melt downs after being over stimulated. Its frustrating but anyway the question is this ... we had her tested by the public school to get her into a special ed program. They denied her because she is testing at a 4 year age leavel. She currently has B23 and a OT they feel she has SPD, ADD ( which I am not ro sure about ) and ODD. B23 feels I should have her diagnosed so she can get help with the social learning. But the public school siad why would I label her at such a young age for the rest of her life.? Not what should I do.
