A parent asks our group: My 4yro with SPD gets overstimulated in busy group settings, resulting in him running around pushing people as he squeals in delight. (He pretends to be a bulldozer). I call him my happy pusher. Id like to get him a compression vest as we have a big family wedding coming up, but Id hate to spend $ on it if its not going to work as $ is tight! Do compression vests tend to help SPD kids in general, or does it really depend on the childs sensitivities? (Hes a little low tone, so I think a weighted vest would wear him out too quickly.)
