A parent asks our group: My 6 year old son has been diagnosed with ASD and I know he has SPD. Hes really bad at brushing his teeth. He puts the toothbrush in his mouth but wont move it around. I even went out and bought him a really nice electric toothbrush at the advice of the dentist. But he wont move the brush around and theres no way hell let us brush his teeth. Im very concerned hes going to have a mouth full of cavities because I can see quite a lot of plaque and tartar build up on his teeth. Any suggestions?
