A perfect example of how good things can come full circle...but it - TopicsExpress

A perfect example of how good things can come full circle...but it cant happen unless you make yourself aware of your surroundings and are willing to make good things happen for others!! Warren and I went shopping last night and finished around 10:30 in Bayers Lake. My fav place to eat is Montannas, only they turned us away saying that the kitchen was closed. ah what, the sign says 11pm. she said you can go to Boston Pizza, theyre open until 1am. No offense to anyone but I am not a fan....been to the Bridgewater one once, and the Bayers Lake once...not my thing. So after little debate because we are both hungry, Warren says lets give it a try. So we go in, sit down and order our food...50 minutes later we are served. But mine is not what i thought it was. the sauce was super spicy with way too much curry and chilli powder...not wanting to order something else because of how long it took the first time around, hubby insisted i eat something so I ordered the quesadilla which was a good choice. so now its shortly after midnight and I take notice of the family who just finished a long day of Christmas shopping struggling to find their wallet. In the pouring rain, the mother and grandmother take turns searching the van inside out and cannot find it. Turns out, she left it in the shopping cart at Mic Mac Mall...Warren and I seize the moment and pay their bill!! Our server was astounded as she said their bill was much larger than yours..would you like to see it?? No thanks, we would just like to pay it!! as I drove past their van, the mother was frantic and i let her know her bill was taken care of, we wished her a merry Christmas and drove out of site. We were just meant to be there :) so then today, i go to Atlantic fabrics and pick out a few things i need for a project and when i get up to the register, i notice a stack of cash laying there..pointed at it and the cashier said oh no, it was the gentlemen who had just left...so I grabbed the cash and took off out of the mall not noticing the guy with his family...then out in the parking lot i take off running, short of breathe and pants falling down..lol..as hes backing out and i knock on the window, did you leave some cash behind he was so overwhelmed..they were from the states visiting for Christmas and only ever use plastic except for the cash they brought to Canada. Then as I wish them all a merry Christmas and walk away, the man starts chasing after me trying to give me 20.00 for my good deed. i insisted I didnt want it and he insisted it would mean more to him if I took the money. I so love this time of year for those exact reasons!! Merry Christmas everyone. May you be aware of your surroundings and make a stranger feel special this Holiday Season :)
