There are many groups in the USA which Im sure youre fully aware will vote a straight Democrat ticket as well for various reasons. When either a Democrat or Republican votes in such a manner it only nullifies the power of their vote. If a politician knows that you will vote for him regardless of his policy then it doesnt really matter what he does because you will vote for him anyway. Pulling your vote and supporting the opposition is the only source of power your vote has in my opinion. If a politician doesnt fear their constituency doing such a thing they have no reason to undertake any real change and can do whatever they please.” (Thank you, Jason, for sharing)
