A post for #Barefoot14 volunteers. I didnt write this post immediately as I was too wobbly after some of you made me cry (but apparently according to Kelly Swann real Badgers do cry). You were simply awesome and worked your socks off, covering extra shifts and doing the icky jobs like toilets and litter picking. However that wasnt enough, you made Barefoot love you. The feedback I had from staff and Barefooters was incredible and so many people stopped and asked me to thank you all. I have worked with volunteers for nearly 20 years and never experienced that level of thanks or recognition for volunteers. On top of all of that you made me smile, laugh and at the end cry...but I forgive you! Its amazing to have made so many friends and you even made Mr B fall in love with Barefoot and he will be there for the whole event next year. You showed me the essence of Barefoot and I cant wait to see you all at the Thank you party and of course next year. In short....you are awsome!
