A post was sent to us this morning from a new and upcoming family. We have no idea where the post came from or what family posted it so we are not here to out anyone. Here is part of that post referring to Warren Retrievers: Let me just preface with this.....if youve heard about this organization from hear say or if you have read the articles online, all I have to say is.... Dont believe everything that you hear and read. My husband comes from a Law Enforcement background and knows how to investigate people and organizations and we took full advantage of those skills during this process. Weve seen the articles and were contacted on numerous occasions by the group of individuals trying to taint the image of SDWR because of their bad experiences. After many discussions with SDWR and also speaking with multiple families who have SDWR Diabetic Alert Dogs both across the country and locally, we came to the conclusion that this was an AMAZING organization! I can only hope this family does not become anther victim. Now, I will say this, Warren has taken advantage of military, police officers, lawyers, detectives, nurses, doctors, etc... I can tell you that someone from each oneof these professions thought they did their homework too, only to still be scammed by Warren. Please dont think that because you have a certain profession, you won;t be a victim. You can talk to many families that are in the organization and they will tell you only good things because they have to. No one in the organization will truly share the bad issues they had with Warren in fear of being kicked out and never getting their dog working. I just want to see ONE dog, FULLY completely trained, full public access, night alert trained, day alert trained, complete obedience done. Even the older families are still working on trying to get the obedience down. I would like to see a clear alert. Not n alert that says the child was dropping an hour later. Where are those stories. There is a company doing certifications for DADs. I would like to see how many Warren families can qualify for one of these. Even though they are not recognized certifications, it is something to help the families know where there dogs are.
