A prayer for all my students as they begin a new school year tomorrow: Father, In the name of your precious son, Jesus, we ask that you will give our children all the wisdom and understanding they need as they start this new school year. Your wisdom is all encompassing and their need is great. Thank you that in you they can walk away from foolish and unwise choices. Ephesians 1: 7 -8 “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,” (NIV) May my children’s thinking be filtered by Your word and Your truth so that all ideas, thoughts and feelings are tested for validity. Make them sensitive to discern lies and steer clear of confusion producing ideas and philosophies. May the enemy have no fertile ground to plant any seeds that go against Your truth. Thank you for Your protection. Help them to embrace it! Amen
