Stickbow Archery’s Exhibition Archer and Bow Builder Dave Ruff to Perform at Louisiana Renaissance Festival. An action packed event you won’t want to miss! Mount Pleasant, TX, July 12, 2014: Dave Ruff will be performing at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival in Hammond, LA November 1 through December 7, 2014. This show will be seen twice daily, and includes a history of archery as well as entertaining historical and trick shots, including aerial, use of mirrors, and the ever famous “William Tell” – to name a few. This is the first time Stickbow Archery’s Shooting Show will be included as a scheduled performance, although they have been selling their archery bows, arrows, and other accessory items there for four years. The shooting show has been very well received since its debut last year in Kenosha, WI at the Bristol Renaissance Faire. Since then, Dave has performed at other renaissance faires, schools, and outdoor celebrations. With his assistant, Caitlyn Cooling, who bears a striking resemblance to “Merida”, Dave has a very family-friendly performance that is both educational and entertaining.
