A priority of mine is to take care of our own citizens through a community effort. There are many people willing to help. We can get our Senior citizens back in their building at City Hall. There we can have activities for each age group, - little children, Seniors, and all ages in between. This can be done with only imagination, some electricity, and 5 cent Kool Aid, and a volunteer leader for each activity. Yes, we can! I have much experience in leadership and administrative duties. Beware of the argument that I have no experience. My leadership experience is on a high level. For example, I recruited a team of medical professionals from all over the United States and made all the plans to get them to Costa Rica to care for hundreds of refugees. The need was huge. Our team was great. And it went off without a hitch. My graduate studies were in leadership and administration. I agree with my mayoral opponents that experience does count.. I have the level of experience that comes from being a critical care nurse since 1978 where life and death decisions must be made from one minute to another. I adapt easily to changing situations as I did when working in Africa. Everything was different but I adapted each day I will be able to step into the position of Mayor and learn quickly all that needs to be learned. I am a strong leader and I am used to achieving what I set out to do. My dogged determination will help Bradley move forward.
