A proposition to you guys that I will also bring up to the Socal community as well as far as some rulesets go: We originally reduced the stock count from 3 to 2 due the reason of people claiming its tougher to kill in this installment vs the others. As the games meta gets developed I think thatll change for sure and we may potentially revert back to 3-stocks. However, this is all under the light of Singles. Now in Doubles, we also transferred over the stock count reduction and that is where things get a little... iffy IMO. A part of the Meta in Doubles is having a stock-tank, and with the 2-stock rule that nearly eliminates that playstyle and strategy for certain teams. My proposal is for the TOs in your region to bump the Doubles stock count back to 3, and up the time to 8 minutes just like in Brawl. Norcal is infamous for its Doubles players and synergy our players naturally have with teammates weve never been with before in tournament. Test it out and let me know how it feels, the argument of people dying later than the average is still a weak point IMO and in Doubles, the games pace as a whole is much faster than in Singles.
