A protest rally was held at Tharoijam today in connection with the Mangani Leihun of late Longjam Jina, age 9 who was raped and brutally murdered. Those who took part in the rally offered floral tribute at the spot where Jina was found dead and observed 2 minute silence as a mark of respect. Speaking to Impact News, Convenor of JAC formed in connection with the dead of Jina said they want accused Shyamjai to be awarded an exemplary punishment under the law of the land.
