A public forum for the final candidate for dean of the University of Montana School of Law will be Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 3:30 p.m. in Room 219 of the law school. The candidate is Associate Professor Marcilynn A. Burke, former acting assistant secretary for land and minerals management at the U.S. Department of the Interior. For those unable to attend, there will be remote broadcasts of the presentation at three locations: Billiings, Granite Tower, 222 N. 32nd St., Suite 402; Miles City, Custer County Justice Court, 1010 Main St.; Sidney, Mid-Rivers Communications, 204 N. Central Ave. The other two candidates -- Professor Donald P. Judges, of the University of Arkansas School of Law, and Lt. Col. David J.R. Frakt, assistant staff judge advocate and reserve coordinator at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida -- had public forums on Aug. 27 and Sept. 3, respectively.
