A question... With new technology comes the opportunity to do some new things, so Id just like to sound out opinion, if you dont mind. It may be possible to produce a Gig Guide app for Android phones. A simplified version of the web site that would display a list of gigs and full info by tapping one of the events. The reason it would be Android only is that apps can be created for free, whereas iPhones would mean a cost of £60 to be able to creat an app, and Windows Phones have a developer cost too. The questions are :- 1 ) Would you want a phone app? 2 ) Would you be prepared to pay for one, if it were available? 3 ) If you were, would you be prepared to pay, say, 20p, 50p, or another amount? Hopefully, any income would help pay to add other platforms Any feedback/thoughts would be most welcome.
