A quick and huge thank you to everyone who took part today, - TopicsExpress

A quick and huge thank you to everyone who took part today, bearing in mind everything, not the least of which being the huge downpour that began just as we set off from the Saddle (yeah thanks Karl, we know you were praying to the Rain Gods to make it rain.... :) ) well the turnout was excellent. We got our message across superbly. The Daily Mail were at the Saddle. And when we got to the West stand of course -- Sky Sports cameras and plenty of other media - think we gave them a bit of a shock at first and the Dear Sky banner that was unfurled which I hope someone has got photos of was excellent. Photos will be sent off to all the national media. We got a few good photos - with Burnley fans, with all the Latvian flags, shirts etc, all sorts. And over the next few days these will be appearing. Great to see the Print Shop there with their banners and t-shirts for sale. I want to say a huge thanks and well done to the two girls Sarah and Tracy, going round collecting for Gary Parkinson, you did a great job. The money will be passed on to Parkys Fund. And if nothing else from today just to be able to donate money as a group of Blackpool and Burnley fans that is a superb gesture. Hilarious on the way home... I had Radio Wave on and they were talking about how there were probably as many protesting outside before the game as there were inside the stadium watching the game. And they were pleading with those fans inside to tweet them the names of the players.. because in the 2nd half we ended up with eight triallists and they were saying how the press box had no idea what was going on, Triallist striker to triallist midfielder.... They were trying hard to find out players name, and hoping that fans behind the dugouts could find out for them and tweet their names... What a farce.... Thank you to all the Burnley fans who supported us. And at least the police let us just get on with it all, they just observed from afar.... :) We did try to get in one of the Cash Cow banners to the away end, some Burnley fans were perfectly happy to take one in and unfurl it.. Unfortunately we couldnt quite get it in... :) A huge well done to Scott Koudellas and Rob Underdown and to everyone involved today. Keep It Up. And dont forget -- Latvia Is Also Watching... Up The Pool
