A quick note to all of my friends on Facebook and loyal viewers of WDSU News This Morning. I wont be needing the alarm clock much anymore. Beginning Monday, August 25th Ill be teaming up with Camille Whitworth and Scott Walker for the 4pm newscast on WDSU News Monday through Friday, while my weather colleague Damon Singleton joins Randi Rousseau, Sula Kim and the rest of the morning show crew. I will miss working with all of the fantastic talent both on air and behind the scenes on the morning show...but I must be honest--I wont miss getting up at 1am for work! Having said that, it has been a great pleasure waking up early every weekday morning for the last five years to provide weather forecasts for all the early risers in New Orleans who tune into WDSU. Keep in mind, this is not good-bye, its quite literally--Ill see you later! So after you watch the morning show, turn us on at 4pm! I look forward to being a part of your afternoon in the same way I was a part of your morning! In the meantime, Ill be taking down my blackout shades and storing my ear plugs in a place far, far away. Have a great weekend, and Ill see you Monday at 4!
