A quick update on my mother for everyone....again we appreciate all of the prayers and support and I can tell you that they are definitely felt. Tomorrow my mother is being air-lifted from Lubbock to Dallas so that she can return to Baylor for another attempt at an autologous (her own) stem cell transplant. She has been told she is too weak for a donor match at this time and in fact, they havent found a match as of yet...they are still searching and requesting information from potential matches. Until that time, because she has no immune system currently and is requiring transfusions every day or two for red blood cells and platelets, they want to attempt another transplant. They are hoping that this will buy some time to find a match and give her some strength and immunity in the meantime. My mother is a fighter and always has been and I know she will continue to fight...and she and the rest of our family know that God IS sovereign over all things and is the ultimate physician and healer. We will continue to keep you as up to date as possible and again we thank you for your support.
