A reader asks: My two year old is warm and friendly with people she knows but if anyone else tries to talk to her, she looks uncomfortable and doesnt speak. I really strongly feel that this is ok, she is her own person and I dont want to encourage her to speak to strangers anyway. Aslong as she isnt rude, which she isnt then I dont see a problem but my mum says its not right and that I should tell her to speak. Does anyone else think I am wrong here? thanks x
