A reader sent this to me via PM and Id like to share it with you all. I know Im new to this business, and I have so many lessons to learn. Im not setting myself to reach the impossible. I just have a dream and a fire in my belly that keeps me up late at night and wakes me up early in the morning. Competition... Such an ugly word. Yes, there is competition and theres a sea of incomparable talent in the Indie Author World. I see my book and I weep because I know I couldve done better, or better yet, when I see a PM filled with thank yous and praise, I think for one second, wow. I wrote that. Im not a Dickens, or a Shakespeare, or even a Hoover, but I am me, and I will not rest until my dreams come true. They may take forever, but it is the true thing that keeps me going. Setting the bar high for quality and low for expectations, because if I cant blow my own mind, then I cant certainly impress yours. Thank you for sharing this video with me AB. Were in this together.
