A recent tree root inspection of a Corymbia tessellaris - TopicsExpress

A recent tree root inspection of a Corymbia tessellaris overhanging a bus stop and local residence undertaken using the Pinnacle ArborPro Air-Spade identified significant root dieback. The root damage was caused by the installation of the bus stop over 6 years ago however symptoms of the damage only started presenting in the past 6 months with minor apical dieback and canopy thinning. The root inspection identified large structural root dieback back to the root flare, this tree was considered too hazardous to retain and has been marked for removal. This demonstrates that structural root damage does not always present until years later with subtle above ground symptoms. The extent of root damage and the risk to the public would not have been realised without a comprehensive tree root inspection.
