A relatively clear and golden sky as the suns drops below the ‘dusky’ far western line before our eyes … we settle for the night after a day of “Mixed Results” for our efforts … tomorrow the better half has appointments to keep … and we have an appointment with the inside ‘side’ of a 280 foot long six foot high ‘Good Neighbour’ fence that must be painted/stained … not the sort of task most of us would choose for ourselves yet it must be done. We have read a variety of articles of interest from all quarters … This old Geezer is … to alter a phrase ”Involved in humanity’ … We fain would know what happens one day to the next but this evening we feel uncertain of many things … we appreciate that there will be other such days. Many of you are all too aware of the casual certainty and haste with which we each go about our lives. Tonight we will take to our bed in thoughtful repose … may there be adequate rest for you wherever you lay down your head this July evening in 2014 … and if it be too warm ... may you have a cooling breeze - natural or artificial ... whatever will comfort you ... Good Night ...
