A reminder that just because we do not have your missing pets photo on our Facebook page or posted on Petfinder doesnt necessarily mean your pet is NOT at the shelter. Its not unheard of for a pet to be here throughout their entire stray-hold period without Volunteer Heather, Volunteer Anna or Volunteer Sue having a chance to get pictures on-line for them. An animal shelter cant be run like an assembly line, and although we do all we can to help facilitate quick reunions, it is ultimately the responsibility of a good owner to do all he or she can to recover their pet. The shelters hours are M-F, 10 am to 4 pm; if you cant come in during business hours call the shelter anyway at 989-539-3221. Perhaps something can be worked out.
