A reminder to existing Window Condensation Control customers... Please check your ventilation inlets are not fully or partially clogged. We have noticed that some houses are prone to moths getting stuck in the flymesh filter within the vents. This can lower the amount of ventilation entering the house and reduce the window control functionality. If you have an eave, gable or roof cowl inlet, to keep it clear: 1) Turn off the Ducting Air Circulation System; 2) Unwind the eave inlet anti-clockwise, or untape the gable or roof cowl inlet; 3) Clear any build-up with a light brush, such as an old toothbrush; 4) Screw the eave inlet back in (clockwise), or re-seal the gable or roof cowl inlet - ensure there are no gaps for moths to get into the system; and then 5) Turn the ducting system back on and leave it on 24/7 over the cooler months. Good as new! p.s. if you are having any trouble doing this, then you can either have a full system service ($150) or just get us to clear the inlet or outlet ($50).
