A reply to my anti-Charter Change post in the FB group, RCEAOF: the Constitution is a 30yrs old FLAWED DRIVING MANUAL We need to REFORM to adapt GLOBAL CHALLENGES. My rebuttal: I think you never read my whole post very well - you only were expecting the portions you want to read, then leave out the unpalatable remainders. You are asking for constitutional reforms from the very officials who got up there using vile means? Its like asking a serial killer to operate a life-saving surgery on you. Do you even read history? Do you assess the political landscape in a critical manner worthy of a genuinely enlightened and legitimate Filipino voter? If our lawmakers are worth OUR vote, they would have the foresight to see problems in some proposed laws and be creative enough to craft sane ones while working around constitutional limits. What we see as a hindrance is really a bridge to opportunity while those we perceive as beautiful open roads are, in truth, leading to lethal dead-ends. Again, I would to end this comment by repeating a previous line and emphasize them in caps: ITS LIKE ASKING A SERIAL KILLER TO OPERATE A LIFE-SAVING SURGERY ON YOU.
