A repost from earlier... was just thinking about this little girl - One of the Challis young ladies sporting her incredible dread locks- at Return To Freedom Wild Horse Sanctuary. I was so taken with the knots on some of the horses, it was like art to me, with the ends all bleached out red adding even more visual interest. Beautiful I thought. It added another layer, another element of wild that our domestic horses dont have. She curiously stretched her head way out towards me so I did the same and she lipped my fingers very softly. Sweet girl! I hope to see her again. Thanks to Meg Fredrick for the image that I was unaware of being taken. I treasure it!
