A rocket aimed at Tel Aviv, intercepted by Iron Dome A bus ride - weve all had one, probably. Listening to some Led Zeppelin, thinking, looking out the window. And then the bus stops - theres no stop here, I think to myself. People are getting off. What the hell?. I take off one ear-phone, and then I hear the siren. Bugger. A foreign woman looks scared, not quite sure what to do. I motion her to follow me and get behind cover - a low wall, behind some bushes. Thats all we have. If the rocket falls behind us, we may survive with only shrapnel wounds, hopefully. If it falls in-front of us, well be evaporated. Im not telling her that. Then a strong explosion is heard - but it does not echo, nor does the earth shake. Its overheard, meaning the rocket has been met with one of our own, from Iron Dome, our gurdian. Interception, I tell her simply. She nods and looks a bit calmer. We both lived to see another day. How long would you be wiling to live like this?
