A sad day for Austin music lovers!! Ian McLagan – a 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee on stage with such notables as his Faces colleague Rod Stewart, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Bonnie Raitt, among many others. He was born in England but had lived in Austin for a long time and often played with his band around here.. In fact he was a favorite for the Austin Live Music scene and still was touring and playing up until he died. He had a stroke at 69 and died yesterday. RIP to one of the best keyboardist ever!!!
