A sad week that said goodbye to the best live music venue in London. Sadly, the council seem to think that what people want and need are more places where they can consume ... how wrong they are, we want music and community and honesty, and somewhere to go that isnt about money or consuming or fame or success, somewhere we can stumble in out of the rain on a Tuesday night and discover a wonderful new artist, a wonderful new song .We want The 12 Bar Club. Here is the wonderful Vince McCann, a real troubador who worked the door at the 12bar for as long as I can remember, telling it like it is.
