A scene of multi-cultural small children with united hands singing a chorus from “Beautiful”- a song by Bruno Mars, and a video presentation of a multilingual national anthem being song by their native people; Bruno demonstrated original, unique styles of musical entertainers, like Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Prince, James brown, into his opening performance at the super bowl through dance, apparel, hair, and body language. Amusingly to me, He integrated these styles one by one into a single original song. I surmise this was a showing of the hope for multiculturalism. Multiculturalism manipulated to our country, a land that will never fully be coexistent in language, race, and religion, by those with dreamlike hallucinations of harmony. In the history of all time, there has never been a country, kingdom, or nation to overcome such an epic mission. My question to all: Why do we as people, in this seemingly fixed world, continue to feed false hope of a mistakenly optimistic idea to our own selves?
