A senior Kovaipudur resident passed away yesterday due to cardiac arrest. He complained of chest pain and his neighbors called 108 and yet another popular doctor and requested him to come down and check him out. The doc refused to visit his house and asked the patient to be brought to the hospital. As the pulse dropped, the neigbours tried to revive him. But no vain. By the time yet another veteran doctor was called in everything was over. It is hard for me to understand why this ruthless doc who refused to show up got his medical degree. His attitude defies the manu dharma leave alone vaidya dharma. I gather that this doctor responded similarly in the past and yet anothet person lost his life due to lack of timely response. It hurts.. Hurts... Hurts... Nenju porukkudhillaye!
