A silent auction was launched on 27 September 2014 during the Appreciation Lunch and Blessing Session to aid in the building fund for the new centre. Three prized possessions donated by HE Beru Khyentse Rinpoche, Sang Sang Rinpoche and Shangpa Rinpoche were introduced to the sponsors and volunteers. Everyone can participate in the auction. We will be setting up a page on our official website for bidding of the items. Everyday we will announce the highest bids and at the end of a month, we will announce who has won the bid. ITEM 1 (Bell and Vajra of Sang Sang Rinpoche) - Sang Sang Rinpoche received this bell and vajra from a great yogi Sindag Rinpoche, who is a well-known master in the Kagyud Lineage. It has been used by Sindag Rinpoche during his lifetime until it was given to Sang Sang Rinpoche. Rinpoche is donating them for the fund raising of KKBC new building. ITEM 2 (White Tara Thangka of Shangpa Rinpoche) - This thangka was drawn by a well-known Newari artist. Shangpa Rinpoche liked this thangka so much that although it was very costly, Rinpoche finally bought it after much hesitation. It is his most treasured item in his art collection but for the purpose of fund-raising for the new building, he is donating it for the fund raising of centre. ITEM 3 (800 year old Mongolian Thangka of HE Beru Khyentse Rinpoche) - This thangka from Mongolia is 800 years old and it is one of His Eminence Beru Khyentse Rinpoches most precious collection item, it has been blessed by many great masters within the timeframe of 800 years. By knowing that KKBC is raising fund for its new building, Rinpoche is donating it to KKBC for the fund raising of centre.
