A simple google search will reveal that millions, if not billions, of dollars have gone into creating media that produces hatred for Muslims in this country. I remember when ALM first started getting media attention, some of the comments under some of the articles, such as the article on The Independent and Huffington Post, were pretty disturbing. Some insisted that we were a terrorist organization, while others blatantly said that we would be better off dead. This is our chance to speak for ourselves and show people a glimpse what true Islam in America looks like. We may not be able to get rid of Islamophobia overnight, but maybe we can encourage people a little bit closer to tolerance and understanding. Please watch the video below- Im sure youll love it.
