A sister is worried her husband wants to add another wife!! Its set her thinking and stressing her up!! What shud she do?? Bismillaah. Alhamdulillaah .. Well, i advice sisters to psyche themselves up and look well, with the right eyes ..indeed, theyre examplary polygamous families out der.. Just dat some sisters are clouded with negative examples and fail to see the positive ones! If someone‘s own is not dat gud, it doesnt mean you have the same destiny.. There are wonderful polygamous marriages out der!! And wen it happens, yours too can be a testimony in_shaa_Allah Maa_shaa_Allaah Its all about patience And duaa/ prayer ﻳَﺎ ﺃَﻳُّﻬَﺎ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﺁﻣَﻨُﻮﺍ ﺍﺳْﺘَﻌِﻴﻨُﻮﺍ ﺑِﺎﻟﺼَّﺒْﺮِ ﻭَﺍﻟﺼَّﻼَﺓِ ۚ ﺇِﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪَ ﻣَﻊَ ﺍﻟﺼَّﺎﺑِﺮِﻳﻦَ O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. ** And learn to apply strategic hikma in dealing with polygamy shud it come your way.. Accepting wat Allah made permissible for His sake.. earns you many blessings .. and if u remain patient, He will never put u to shame. Wallaahi You see, my dear sisters, It starts with the mindset, if you tell yourself, I cant bare it, its impossible, then it will remain so.. then become a divorcee or stressed up wife if it happens.. aww But Why dont we rather, say.. Yaa Allah. You hav permitted this, yet its difficult for me. And you know best ..Pls help me be patient. And accept Your decree.. Be with me and help me survive it and still be Happy and attain your pleasure!! My dear sisters, Instead of despairing and thinking we cant bare it.. lets rather focus on the one who permitted it.. and call on Him day n night and He will answer us, like He jas answered many many blessed polygamous families .. Allah says ﻭَﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺭَﺑُّﻜُﻢُ ﺍﺩْﻋُﻮﻧِﻲ ﺃَﺳْﺘَﺠِﺐْ ﻟَﻜُﻢْ ۚ ﺇِﻥَّ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻳَﺴْﺘَﻜْﺒِﺮُﻭﻥَ ﻋَﻦْ ﻋِﺒَﺎﺩَﺗِﻲ ﺳَﻴَﺪْﺧُﻠُﻮﻥَ ﺟَﻬَﻨَّﻢَ ﺩَﺍﺧِﺮِﻳﻦَ And your Lord says, Call upon Me; I will respond to you. Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible. 40: 60 Buh it all starts with choosing a pious husband, deen over dunya..and helping each other towards piety ... and in_shaa_Allah, whether he remains with you alone or decides to add wat is permitted (ie.polygamy) ..he will never be unjust or treat you unfairly! Focus more on Allah!! And you will be free in_shaa_Allah Allah knows best May Allah forgive n guide us till jannah
