A smart viewer sent me this email. I promised her I would pass it on. This makes me SO MAD!! I dont want to use the word hate but I HATE these scammers. Please SHARE this post with your friends and family. I got a phone call today from 876-253-5714 saying I won a BMW and I could pick the color, then said I also won 100,000 and they would send me a check in the mail through FedEx. Asked me how do I feel? Am I excited? Im like yeah sure. He goes so what color do you want, I say silver and then he goes you dont sound excited, today is going to be like your birthday your going to be so happy. Im like how did you get my number again? He says something about having services through Cricket and they only do it once a year and Im the first Wisconsin winner. He then told me I had to pay 1% for insurance & Tax which was $45 dollars that was refundable. He asked me did I have the money now and I said yes. He said that he would stay on the phone with me as I go to the nearest check cashing place. He then asked me was i getting ready to go to the check cashing place, I told him YEAH and hung up the phone. I know a scam and this was a SCAM! He called back 3xs but I blocked the number. He did not say my name at any point in the conversation, and he didnt ask me for any personal information, he just wanted me to pay now for the insurance and taxes, and he also had a very strong Arabian accent. I dont know if this will help anyone else but I wanted to share so someone doesnt fall for this scam.
