A story that missed the print deadline for Grandmas Keys Have Been More Places Than Grandma: The adventures of a house key.: Latest Tale of the Keys For our friends at Under the Ginkgo Tree Despite my best intentions to return these two keys, they became stowaways on my return trip to Little Rock and Maumelle in central Arkansas. It wasnt until Tuesday morning that these little imps made themselves known. So, for their transgression they have been enclosed in an envelope and dutifully mailed back to their rightful owners (Gloria and Dan). Im sure they briefly enjoyed a January day in the mid-50s temperature range, but now its back to the icebox. Hopefully the trauma of mailing (the cancelling, the piling on of other envelopes and boxes) will teach these keys a lesson: Theres no place like home! Seriously, Gloria and Dan, we thank you for a very pleasant evening and breakfast. I have a hunch well be seeing you again, since Elaine just loved the school and the beautiful surroundings there in the River Forest, Oak Park area. So, I wont say good-bye, but rather, until next time... God bless, Mark Special bonus fact: Our room keys were designed by Glorias 15-year old granddaughter, Maddie.
