A strange man knocked on my door tonight to offer a free floor cleaning demonstration. He didnt have any uniform, identification badge, paper work, equipment, or even a vehicle (from what I could see). He handed me a piece of paper with pictures of rug shampooers that had no words or logos on it. I declined his offer and offered to pass his info along if he left me a business card or an aadvertisement for his company. He declined my offer and left. I posted this on my personal page and 3 of my meriden fb friends said it happened to people they know as well and it seemed suspicious to them as well. Please be careful neighbors. My friends said a woman offered their loved ones the offer.
